The Most Powerful Voice in America
What role do broadcasters play in the dialogue between candidates and voters?  What role should they play?  ICPR is hosting a forum to discuss how candidates and voters speak to each other through the media.  The event will be held on Tuesday, November 15 at the Gene Siskel Film Center on State Street in Chicago.  Speakers include academics, political consultants, and broadcasters, with a keynote conversation featuring author, lawyer and former FCC Chairman Newton Minow and Carol Marin, WMAQ-TV investigative reporter.  Registration is required; click here for more information.

Ryan?  Warner?  Fawell?
Isn't George Ryan on trial?  So why is the press focusing on Scott Fawell?  ICPR's blog, The Race is On, covers the trial, the coverage, and the issues, plus other news as it happens.  Subscribe here, or read the blog for yourself here.
