Two men, including a city Streets & Sanitation superintendent, were convicted Thursday of attempting to manipulate voters in two hotly contested elections in Ald. Bernard Stone's 50th Ward in 2007.
Cook County Judge Marcus Salone found Anish Eapen, 39, guilty of nine counts of vote fraud, including attempted absentee ballot fraud and attempted mutilation of election materials, according to a release from the Cook County State's Attorney's office.
