Brian Buckman

Brian has been providing micro-businesses, academic groups and not for profit organizations IT consulting services for over 13 years. Brian is the President of Di-Gnosis Media, Inc. which has clients, in addition to ICPR, ranging from Walt Disney Interactive, to Northwestern University, to small record labels and independent film makers. In 2008 Brian became a SANS certified Information Technology Security Professional.

Whitney Woodward

Whitney Woodward is a policy associate at Illinois Campaign for Political Reform. She conducts research and does policy work on a range of reform issues, including campaign finance reform, redistricting and judicial independence. Before joining ICPR, Whit was a state government reporter for the Associated Press in Raleigh, N.C. She also has covered the Illinois and Iowa legislatures, in addition to the 2008 presidential campaigns.

Nelly Viramontes

Nelly was born and raised in the city of Chicago. She has been working at the Illinois Campaign for Political Reform since 1997 as the Administrative Assistant and Intern Coordinator.  Prior to joining ICPR she worked at the League of Women Voters of  Illinois as a data entry assistant and went on to become the organization’s administrative manager.  Nelly has participated in the Jalisco Federation of Midwest Clubs and her own club “Mezquiticenses en Chicago’.

Kent Redfield

Kent Redfield is a professor of Political Studies at the University of Illinois - Springfield (UIS). He is currently serving as the interim director for the Institute for Legislative Studies at UIS, when he has been a research fellow since 1979. Dr. Redfield also has an appointment in the University of Illinois’ Institute of Government and Public Affairs. Dr. Redfield has been engaged in research on the financing of political campaigns in Illinois and political ethics since 1991.

Kate Hermann

Kate Hermann is the Development & Outreach manager at Illinois Campaign for Political Reform. She works with individuals, other non-profits and foundations to raise funds and and increase awareness for ICPR.

Before joining ICPR, Kate worked in campaign politics on the ground and as a consultant and and in non-profits doing fundraising and events management.

Kate has a bachelor's degree from DePaul University in Political Science and Public Policy.

David Morrison

David Morrison, Deputy Director of ICPR, supervises ICPR’s research, writing and website content and lobbies on behalf of ICPR’s reform agenda. His articles have appeared in Chicago magazine, the Loyola Consumer Law Reporter, and Women Building Chicago 1790-1990: A Biographical Dictionary (Indiana University Press, 2000), in addition to letters and opinion pieces in Harpers magazine, the New York Times, and numerous Illinois newspapers.
