A last-ditch appeal by Illinois Liberty PAC to undo the state’s campaign finance reform in the weeks before Election Day has failed.

ICPR and two campaign finance reform allies filed a friend-of-the-court brief in support of Illinois' campaign contribution limits. The submission comes in response to a challenge by a political group seeking the ability to contribute unlimited amounts to candidates in the weeks before the November general election.
