Illinois Supreme Court Justice Lloyd Karmeier will not be conducting the swearing-in ceremony today for Paul Evans as a state representative because questions about Evans' eligibility could eventually be decided by the high court.

Update: Emanuel has filed his campaign report. It shows he raised $2.58 million in the first three months of the year, spent $9 million and had $1.86 million on hand. 

Mayor-elect Rahm Emanuel spent roughly $800,000 successfully fighting off an attempt to knock him off the ballot by challenging his residency, a transition aide said today.
