The Illinois Community Currency Exchanges (ICCE), headquartered in Chicago, represents 650 Illinois Currency Exchanges. In 2004 the state agency that regulates currency exchanges, the DFI (the Division of Financial Institutions), was merged with three other state-run financial institutions to form the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional.

The ICCE is a career patron of Secretary of State Jesse White (D) and Treasurer Judy Baar Topinka (R).

From January 1, 1993 through June 30, 2006, the ICCE gave $696,000 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, 55% of which was contributed to Democrats.
