Comcast Cable

Comcast is the nation's largest cable television company. Comcast also has interests in several cable TV stations, a portion of MGM Studios, and two Philadelphia sports teams, the 76ers and the Flyers. The company gained a presence in Illinois when it acquired AT&T's cable operations in 2001.

From January 1, 1993 through June 30, 2006 Comcast Cable gave $743,000 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, 50% of which was contributed to Democrats.
