Community Bankers Association of Illinois

The Community Bankers Association of Illinois represents 500 community banks, savings and loans, and thrifts. The Association is concerned with state lending limits; interest rate regulation; marketing solicitation rules; taxes on interest and dividend payments; and the like. The Association is distinct from the Illinois Bankers Association, whose members tend to be federally-chartered banks.

From 1993 to June 30, 2007, Community Bankers Association of Illinois (COMMUNITY BANK PAC) gave $1,335,000, 52% of which was contributed to Republicans.
