The Cable TV and Communications Association of Illinois represents the interests of cable television providers in Illinois. Among the issues occupying CablePAC's agenda are cable television monopoly regulations and telecom/internet service agreements.

The Cable TV and Communications Association of Illinois is a career patron of Senate President Emil Jones (D), House Speaker Michael J. Madigan (D), and House Republican Leader Tom Cross.

From January 1, 1993 through June 30, 2006, the Cable TV and Communications Association of Illinois gave $2.560 million to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, 56% of which was contributed to Republicans.
