James Pritzker Political Participation Fund

James Pritzker is the current President and CEO of Tawani Enterprises, Inc. Headquartered in Chicago, Tawani Enterprises is a private investment company specializing in limited real estate partnerships, portfolio management, and venture capitalization. Pritzker is also President of the Tawani Foundation and the Pritzker Military Library. The Tawaini Foundation supports the preservation of military heritage and ROTC and JROTC programs. Pritzker retired from the military in March 2001 as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was named to the Forbes 400 Richest Americans list in 2004. Pritzker has an acquired net worth of $2 billion from the hotel and investment industries.

From 1993 through June 30, 2007, James Pritzker and the Political Participation Fund contributed $ 1,155,000 to Illinois statewide offices. 99% of these funds were contributed to Republicans.
