Joseph Power & Power, Rogers & Smith

Joseph Power is a former president of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. He is a partner in the law firm Power, Rogers and Smith, which specializes in personal injury and wrongful death claims. The firm has obtained over 200 verdicts and settlements of at least $1 million on behalf of their clients, including several high profile cases, such as the Willis family in their case against the staff of former Secretary of State (and Governor) George Ryan in what evolved into the federal Operation Safe Road investigation. Power, Rogers & Smith is a career patron of Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn (D), Attorney General Lisa Madigan (D), Comptroller Dan Hynes (D), and Democratic Party Chair and House Speaker Michael J. Madigan (D).
