Sidney Port

Chicago resident Sidney Port was the head of Lawson Products. Lawson Products, of Des Plaines, manufacturers, wholesales and distributes a variety of component parts for heavy industrial equipment and other industries internationally. He died in June, 2007 at the age of 96.

Sidney Port is a career patron of Comptroller Dan Hyunes (D).

From 1993 through June 30, 2007, Sidney Port contributed $526,000 to Illinois statewide offices. 90% of these funds were contributed to Democrats.
