Illinois State Dental Association

The Illinois State Dental Association, based in Springfield, contributes to political campaigns through its political action committee Dent-IL PAC. It is the trade association for dentists, dental students, and dental hygienists. Recent legislative interests of the ISDA have included the Dental Practice Protection Act and the Impaired Dentist Act.

The Illinois State Dental Association is a career patron of former House Republican Leader Lee Daniels (R), and former Senate President James "Pate" Philip (R).

From 1993 through December 31, 2002, Illinois State Dental Association gave $1.144 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, 59% of which was contributed to Republicans
