Chicago-based Development Specialists, Inc. (DSI) specializes in managing and liquidating businesses through bankruptcy. William Brandt, Jr. serves as president and CEO of DSI. In 2003, DSI was involved in the bankruptcy restructuring of United Airlines. In 2006, Mr. Brandt sued the Village of Winnetka over its efforts to bill for security costs incurred as a result of a political fundraiser starring former President Clinton held at Mr. BrandtŐs house.
