Democratic Governor's Association

The Democratic Governors' Association, based in Washington, D.C., is composed of governors of states and U.S. territories who are members of the Democratic Party. Formed 20 years ago, the DGA funnels money, primarily from national corporations, to Democratic candidates for governor.
The Democratic Governors' Association is a career patron of Governor Rod Blagojevich (D).

From January 1, 1993 through June 30, 2005, the Democratic Governor Association contributed $550,000 to candidates in Illinois, all of it to Democrats.
