Central States Joint Board

The Central States Joint Board is a Chicago-based labor organization that operates two pension funds and a health and welfare fund on behalf of eight locals. According to its PAC description, it represents the interests of workers who make ladders. In 2001, its treasurer and several other officers were convicted of mail fraud and other felony charges.

The Central States Joint Board is a career patron of former Governor George Ryan (R).

From 1993 to 2001, the Central States Joint Board gave $241,250 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, 57% of which was contributed to Democrats.
