Miles White

Miles White is the chairman and CEO of Abbott Labs, an Abbott Park-based maker of pharmaceuticals, medical products, and nutrition/health care products. Abbott Labs has over 70,000 employees worldwide. Mr. White currently serves as deputy chairman of The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, chairman of The Executives' Club of Chicago, a member of The Economic Club of Chicago, and serves on the board of trustees for The Field Museum and The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago.

Miles White is a career patron of former Lieutenant Governor Corinne Wood (R).

From 1993 through June 30, 2002, Miles White gave $226,194 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, 95% of which was contributed to Republicans.
