A new tool is available to journalists covering election campaigns for appellate court seats in the 3rd Judicial District (Rock Island to Kankakee) and the 5th Judicial District (the southern third of the state).
District maps, candidate biographies, tips on campaign finance research and a history of recent judicial elections in Illinois are part of the new Media Guide published by the Illinois Campaign for Political Reform (ICPR).
Reporters can access an electronic version of the Media Guide at ICPR’s web site (www.ilcampaign.org), and a limited number of printed copies are available by calling ICPR at 312-335-1767.
ICPR is a non-partisan public interest group that conducts research and advocates
reforms to promote public participation in government, address the role of money
in politics and encourage integrity, accountability, and transparency in government.
