Lon Monk's lobbying biz

Gov. Blagojevich's former chief of staff and campaign manager -- Alonzo "Lon'' Monk -- launched a government consulting firm, AM3 Consulting Ltd., on Jan. 2, state lobbying records show. Monk has since built a stable of clients, many of them longtime contributors to Blagojevich's campaign fund, according to campaign finance records. Monk's clients have donated more than $480,000 to Blagojevich over the years.

Here are Monk's clients and contributions they've made (under their corporate names as well as in the names of their executives):

* Cable Television & Communications Association of Illinois: $196,000 since 2002

* Citadel Investment Group: $80,000 in 2002 and 2003

* Globetrotters Engineering Corp.: $62,899 since 2000

* Racing Associations of Illinois: $62,127 since 2002

* H.W. Lochner Inc.: $54,000 since 2002

* Illinois Asphalt Pavement Association: $12,500 in 2006

* The Stough Group: $6,300 in 2002

* Johnson Controls Inc.: $6,000 since 2003

* IBM Corp.: $700 in 2002

* Chicago Museum of Science and Industry: $0

* Pacific Management Inc.: $0

* Public Issues Management: $0
