Judge Orders Probation For Former State Rep.
Patricia Bailey Sentenced To Two Years Felony Probation
(CBS) CHICAGO A former state representative convicted on perjury and forgery charges
has been placed on two years probation for lying about her home address before
the 2004 primary.
Patricia Bailey, 52, must complete 100 hours of community service in addition
to probation, Judge Diane Cannon ordered. Cannon said she is giving Bailey the
opportunity to make her community better through service.
Bailey was convicted last month for falsifying candidacy papers and voter registration
during while trying to get elected in the 6th District.
