Salvi, Patrick

Patrick Salvi, a partner in the law firm of Salvi, Schostok and Pritchard, represents plaintiffs in injury cases. The firm deals mostly with medical malpractice, wrongful death, and product liability litigation. Salvi is a former president of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, as is Salvi's law partner, Michael Schostok. Salvi is the brother of former State Representative and Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Al Salvi. Another brother, Michael Salvi, ran as a Republican for the state legislature in 1998. In 2006, Salvi's sister-in-law (wife of Al) ran unsuccessfully in the primary for the 8th District Congressional seat. After losing the primary, she was appointed to the position of Illinois Republican National Committeewoman, which she held until 2008. Since 2005, Salvi has made contributions totaling $58,575, with $51,000 of that given to the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association PAC.

From January 1, 1993 through June 30, 2004, Patrick Salvi and his law firm gave $470,000 to candidates for statewide executive, legislative and appellate and supreme court offices. 51% of these funds went to Republicans.
