Parthenis, Peter

Peter Parthenis, now retired, is the founder of Grecian Delight Foods. Grecian Delight Foods, is a privately held company based in Elk Grove Village that manufactures and markets Mediterranean food products for the food service industries.  The company is now run by Parthenis' son, Peter Parthenis, Jr.

Parthenis is a career patron of State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias.

Since 1997, Parthenis has given $34,450 to statewide legislative and judicial candidates, 99% to Democrats. Much of Parthenis' giving has been to candidates of Greek heritage.
