Mado Management

Mado Management is a property management company based in Chicago, Illinois. It is owned by Peter O'Brien, who also owns O'Brien's Restaurant & Bar and Wittiker Woods, both of which often feature politicians in their full-page newspaper ads.

Mado Management is a career patron of Comptroller Dan Hynes (D).

From 1993 through 2008, Mado Management gave $387,054 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, all of which was contributed to Democrats. The vast majority of these contributions were in the form of in-kind donations of office space for IL Comptroller Dan Hynes, IL Rep. Ken Dunkin, and the 43rd Ward Democratic Party. During the same time, Peter O’Brien gave $33,700 in personal contributions to Democratic candidates, including in-kind contributions of catering for two Pat Quinn fundraisers.
