The Inland Real Estate Group is a commercial real estate, marketing, finance, and mortgage firm. it is the sixth largest real estate owner in the United States. Its CEO is Daniel Goodwin. With $13 billion of assets under management and more than 100 million square feet of commercial real estate, Inland ranks as the 5th largest shopping center owner in the U.S.

The Inland Real Estate Group is a career patron of former Attorney General Jim Ryan (R), unsuccessful Attorney General Joseph Birkett (R), and unsuccessful gubernatorial candidate Roland Burris (D).

From 1993 to 2002, the Inland Real Estate Group contributed $498,000 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, 92% of which was contributed to Republicans.
