Development Specialists Inc.

Chicago-based Development Specialists, Inc. (DSI) specializes in managing and liquidating businesses through bankruptcy. William Brandt, Jr. serves as president and CEO of DSI. In 2003, DSI was involved in the bankruptcy restructuring of United Airlines. In 2006, Mr. Brandt sued the Village of Winnetka over its efforts to bill for security costs incurred as a result of a political fundraiser starring former President Clinton held at Mr. Brandt's house.

Development Specialists, Inc. is a career patron of Governor Pat Quinn (D), Attorney General Lisa Madigan (D), and former Comptroller Dan Hynes (D).

From January 1, 1993 through June 30, 2006, Development Specialists, Inc. has given $470,000 to Illinois legislative and statewide candidates, all of which went to Democrats.
