CNA Citizens for Good Government

CNA Citizens for Good Government is the PAC representing CNA Financial Corporation, the second-largest insurer of U.S. businesses. In 2011 CNA posted revenues of $223 million. CAN suffered losses in 2001 related to the attacks on the World Trade Center, and also asbestos related claims losing $1.6 billion that year.

CNA Citizens for Good Government is a career patron of former Senate President James "Pate" Philip (R).

Between 1993 and 2001, CNA Citizens for Good Government gave $501,227 to candidates for Illinois statewide constitutional and legislative office, 84% of which was contributed to Republicans.
