Citizens for Emil Jones Jr

Emil Jones, Jr. was the President of the Illinois Senate from 2003 to 2009. A Democrat representing the 14^th District, Jones served in the Illinois Senate from 1983 to 2009. He served as President of the Illinois Senate from 2003 to the end of his term in 2009. Previously, he was a member of the Illinois House of Representatives from 1973 until 1983.

Jones served on the Executive Committee and also the Sub-Committees on Education and Ammendments. Emil Jones Jr. was also involved in Barack Obama’s campaign for Senate and his Presidential Campaign in 2008.
