Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM), founded as a linseed crushing business in 1902, is now one of the largest international food providers in the world. Its business includes growth, processing, production, commodities management, and shipping. Headquartered in Decatur, Illinois, ADM has 29,000 employees worldwide. ADM operates more than 240 processing plants and more than 330 sourcing facilities in more than 60 countries on six continents. Net sales for fiscal year 2010 were $62 billion.
