The defense team in the trial of the Blagojevich brothers began presenting its case this morning, putting the ex-governor's brother, Robert Blagojevich, on the stand. ICPR's website now includes a popular page with information and background about Rod Blagojevich's time as governor. For help following the money, ICPR offers a searchable database of all Blagojevich donors and lists of his top financial supporters. * Campaign Disclosure Day is Tuesday, July 20
Candidates for state and local office have until midnight tomorrow to file their financial disclosure reports with the State Board of Elections. Curious about how much your candidates raised, and from whom? The State Board of Elections has the candidates' reports. ICPR will be cleaning and coding the data for posting to our site as fast as our fingers can process it. Check back in August for an updated Sunshine Database.
