Nelly Viramontes

Nelly was born and raised in the city of Chicago. She has been working at the Illinois Campaign for Political Reform since 1997 as the Administrative Assistant and now office bookkeeper.  Prior to joining ICPR she worked at the League of Women Voters of  Illinois as a data entry assistant and then became an administrative assistant for the organization.  Nelly has also been very active in the Jalisco Federation of Midwest Clubs and her own club “Mezquiticenses en Chicago’, Since 1996 she serves on the board of directors for such organization who’s sole purpose is to help the less fortunate of there home town in Jalisco, she has served on the board as Secretary and Projects Organizer.  She plans to return to school and to keep working for her community.  Nelly, spends a lot of time listening to music, and relaxing with her friends, family and her sisters dog, Libbie.
